Yes, I race cars. In 2001/2002, I was the chairperson of the Colorado Rallycross League, a division of the SCCA. I was also a driver in that series, and took 3rd place overall in the season points. (I got smoked by two WRX's... go figure)

These racing leagues are very easy to get involved with, in some cases requiring nothing more than a safe production vehicle and a helmet. There's a league and a style of racing for every budget, from production rally cars, to Spec Fords and Spec Mazdas. For more information on how you can go racing today, contact the SCCA, or if you're in Colorado, the local Colorado Rallycross League (Amateur Rally), or the Colorado Autocross League (Amateur Pavement Courses).

Currently I'm working on getting my RX-7 ready for Autocross Racing. Here's a photo of my baby.

Here's some photos of my old rally car, a 1990 Subaru Legacy 2.2L 4WD... she died when the tranny blew out, and I don't mean the driver.
