Supernova Grafix Engine

The Supernova Grafix Engine is a shareware 3D graphics library. It was designed with games in mind, and is very easy to use. I am using it in a flight sim which I am currently writing, and it does very well using Glide. I was finally able to get screenshots from the 3dfx card. The picture above is from that. Click here for other screenshots showing some of these features.

To download the unlicensed beta version of Supernova Grafix 2.0, click here. You may use this version to begin coding with Supernova Grafix, but you may not publish any work using Supernova Grafix until you purchase the licensed SDK. You will recieve the following items when you license Supernova Grafix.

Important note! Supernova 2.0 will be out shortly. Here is a beta version which has the following major improvements. Be sure to read the Read Me file for a list of known bugs with the beta. Click here to download the beta SDK.

These are images from the Supernova 2.0 default renderer. No more wireframe! Yay! As you can see, the lighting effect is a lot more visible with the flat shading. Supernova 2.0 is also capable of rendering polygons, but only triangles are used in these screenshots.
